The Nigeria’s chartered Safety management and regulatory body, Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) has condoled with the presidency and late Abba Kyari’s family over the death of the former Chief of staff to President Mohammadu Buhari, who departed to the great beyond on the 17th of April 2020, after testing positive to the novel coronavirus.
In a statement signed by the Institute’s National Spokesman, Engr. Timothy Iwuagwu on behalf of the President, Governing Board and State Coordinators of the professional body, he described late Abba Kyari as “an astute administrator, quintessential technocrat, respecter of statutory professionalism and corporate governance”.
ISPON said that late Abba Kyari will be remembered by The Institute ” for demystifying unprofessional elements in the institute, ignorantly requesting for the abrogation of ISPON Act in 2017″.
Engr. Iwuagwu prayed God to grant the family, President Buhari and Nigeria the fortitude to bear what he called ‘irreparable loss’.
