In Times Like This: PFN Celebrates Confederation of Churches 2021 In Lagos

Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN), Agege-Ogba Province of Lagos state, on Saturday celebrated the unity of the Body of Christ; with prayers, praises, admonition and awards to deserving kingdom partners in Lagos and beyond.

The annual event organized by the state Province of PFN led by Bishop Dr. Oliver Praise, was held at Revival Assembly Ministries International headquarters, Ogba-Ikeja, inline with the COVID-19 Safety protocols.

In his keynote address, the Lagos state Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Apostle Enyinnaya Okwuonu, called on the body of Christ to allow the full expression of “Jesus Christ in our daily conducts”. He admonished Christian leaders to wake up in this critical time and “defend the Faith that was handed down to us” by engaging in unrelenting evangelism he codenamed ‘Let’s Talk About Jesus’.

He further extolled the zeal of ‘kingdom service’ in Agege-Ogba Province, led by Bishop Praise and his team, which he acknowledged to have excelled beyond expectations in Lagos state, PFN.

On his part, the host Province Chairman, Bishop Oliver Praise, commended the State Chairman for using the opportunity to clear the air on PFN funding, which is erroneously believed in some quarters, that Government funds PFN activities. He reiterated the need for proper information about PFN funding and accounts, while maintaining that government does not fund PFN in anyway.

Bishop Oliver, who recognized, some church leaders and the Provincial Advisory Committee(PAC) members with awards, thanked them for their support both financially and otherwise.

He didn’t fail to acknowledge the commitment of the Organizing Committee led by Apostle Yinka Adegbuyi for yielding to God’s call to duty in this regard, on a very short notice.

Some PAC members honoured include, Dr. Mrs. Jane, Onaolapo, Pastor Chima Emenuga, Apostle Dele Johnson, Dr. Joe Ighalo, Dr. Julius Orowunmi, Bishop Dr. Folarin Obey, Bishop E.T. Ajayi and Apostle Anselm Madubuko among others.
