NETCO MD, Engr. Johnson Awoyomi, Oyo State CP Ngozi Onadeko, Set To Join NBC DG, Ilelah As National Safety Awards 2021 Guest Speakers.

The managing director and chief executive officer of National Engineering and Technical Company (NETCO), a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC, Engr Johnson Awoyomi, a renowned Engineer with high knowledge in oil and gas safety has been confirmed as one of the guest panelists at the National Safety Awards 2021, slated for Lagos on December 5. 2021.

According to organisers- Media Centre for Safety Reporting (MCSR) Nigeria, the former senior special assistant to the former minister of state for petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachukwu will be joined by the Commissioner of Police, Oyo state police command, CP Ngozi Onadeko and the Director General, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Alhaji Balarabe Shehu Ilelah to speak on the event’s theme: “Safety: Panacea for Peace, Economic Recovery and Nation-Building”.

Until his recent appointment as the head NETCO., Engr. Johnson Awoyomi was the Group General Manager of the Engineering and Technology Division for the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the internal power house that successfully supervised the unbundling of the flagship of Nigeria’s oil industry.

The event massively endorsed by key stakeholders in Health, Safety, Security and Environment- HSSE sectors, will feature; launching of the first National Safety Database Portal, commissioning of premier online Safety Radio and Television with the crowning of Safety Africa Beauty Queen brand ambassador.
Meanwhile, the chartered HSE management institute in the country, Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), has offered to deliver Safety Tips during the event.
