Former Gov. Willie Obiano, Wife Arrested At Lagos Airport Enroute Houston, United States.

The immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Obiano was apprehended at the Lagos International Airport enroute Houston Texas, United States, few hours after he handed over to the new Governor of the state, Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

He is believed to be on his way out of the country to the US in company of his wife Ebelechukwu, who is currently trending over ‘slapping saga’ with wife of late Odumegwu ojukwu at swearing-in ceremony earlier today, when he was arrested by the anti-graft agency

The EFCC operatives will take Obiano into their custody.

Obiano, who has been on the agency’s watchlist, was arrested at about 8:30pm today.
