Abia Labour Party Governorship Candidate Alex Otti Reinforces Campaign,Thanks Abians For Voting Obi
Barely five days to the March 11, Governorship and House of Assembly Elections in Nigeria, the Abia State Governorship Candidate Dr Alex Otti, has reinforced his campaign after the February 25 presidential election, his party’s candidate Peter Obi is challenging the umpire- INEC and the declared winner Bola Tinubu at the court over alleged electoral malpractices.

He expressed profound gratitude to Abians, particularly, Ibeku-Umuahia people, for coming out enmass to vote for Labour Party during the presidential and National Assembly Elections held last Saturday February 25.
He made this known while addressing his teeming supporters, who held a rally in Abia state capital, Umuahia on Saturday March 4, to reassert their commitment to vote Labour Party all the way.
The frontline governorship contestant for the government house in Umuahia, urged Abia electorates not to be discouraged in their “resolved to effect the desired change in the governance of our state”.

He assured them that their presidential candidate in the last election, Mr Peter Obi, has commenced “the process of reclaiming his legitimate mandate”.
Alex Otti declared “Mr. Peter Obi said I should thank you sincerely and that he will be here (Umuahia) to personally appreciate your support for the party.”
In his opening speech, the convener of the rally and key stakeholder of Labour Party in Abia state, Dr. Chimezie Ukaegbu, while thanking Abians for their believe in Labour Party, enjoined them to do more on Saturday’s March 11 Governorship and State Assembly Elections by completely liberating ‘our beloved state with your PVC, for a new path of progress and development’.

He tasked them to remain faithful to Labour Party, cast and defend their votes legitimately on March 11, 2023.
Earlier, at his palace, HRM Eze Onyebuchi Ibezim, Ugwu 1 of Amuzukwu Ibeku-Umuahia assured the Alex Otti, that Ibeku-Umuahia will not disappoint him, because their illustrious son, Chief Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu, who he described as his ‘son and philanthropist of international repute’ cannot afford to suddenly become an unworthy ambassador to the people he has demonstrated so much love and care, even from his base abroad, which earned him the traditional title of Aku ruo Ulo 1(Wealth that touches Home) of Amuzukwu Ibeku-Umuahia.
On his part, another worthy son of Abia, Chief Dickson Ogugua Nzenwa, popularly know as Aku, said the maladministration going on in Abia state, since 1999 has become so embarrassing in a state so richly blessed in human and material resources, that he had to answer the call of his people to join other progressive like minds, such as Dr. Ukaegbu in Diaspora, to come home and join hands in the rescue and restoration of the state.

He therefore, appealed to Abians to keep faith with Labour party and vote massively for Alex Otti and other candidates of the party for Abia’s restoration and progress.
The party faithfuls and Umuahia voters assured the Labour Party candidate, Dr. Alex Otti and other candidates of their block votes come Saturday March 11, 2023.
