OTTI CONDOLES WITH THE UZOUKWU FAMILY, ADMONISHES ON LIVING TRUTHFULLY

The Abia State Governor-Elect Dr. Alex Otti has advised on the need for people to live truthfully and not engage in duplicitous lifestyle.

Otti spoke on Saturday 22nd April 2023, in Umuahia, capital of Abia State, at the funeral service of Late Pastor Mrs. Magdalene Uzonwannechina Uzoukwu, mother of Mr. Chinenye Mba-Uzoukwu, founding Managing Director and CEO of technology solutions provider, InfoGraphics Nigeria.

While extolling the exemplary maternal qualities of the departed Assistant Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Trinity House Parish, Abia Province 5, the Governor-Elect admonished the congregants on righteous living.

“I will like to remind us, just like I said earlier, that a day like this awaits everyone. What is important is not whether you would go, you will go. What is important is what people will say that time you will not be conscious to hear them.

“Therefore, it behoves on all of us to live a life where people will not be forced to tell lies on the day you’re being laid to rest. People will be happy to celebrate you and say, you fought a good fight. That is the ultimate, when we’re done here,” he remarked at the funeral service held at the National War Museum compound.

Late Mama Uzoukwu, 87, was a trained nurse . She is survived by four of her sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and other relatives.
