Bus Driver Blocks Road After Policeman Tore His Passenger’s Bag

A bus driver with Guo Motors have caused commotion on the road after a police officer tore his passenger’s bag during a routine search on the road to Umuahia, the capital city of Abia State.

The incident, which was captured on video, shows the bus driver videoing the Police officer saying:

“In tear my passanger’s bag dey do anyhow. He embarrassed us on our way to Umuahia. You must pay for the bag before I remove my vehicle”

The video made available on Instagram by @datswasup, shows the driver accusing the officer of damaging the passenger’s bag during the search and refusing to pay for the damage.

The police officer’s response to the accusation was inaudible, but he was also seen filming the same incident.

The driver then refused to move his car, which he had parked across the road, until the officer pays for the damage.

The incident has caused a stir online, with many Nigerians condemning the actions of the police officer. Some have called for an investigation into the matter and for the officer to be held accountable for his actions.

Recall that incident is not an isolated case, as reports of police brutality and misconduct are common in Nigeria. Many Nigerians have expressed their frustration with the state of security in the country and the perceived lack of accountability for those responsible for such actions.
