The Abia State Commissioner For Trade, Commerce and Industry, Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu Earlier Today, Paid a Visit To The Abandoned Aba Mega Mall, Aba For an On The Spot Assessment on Certain Issues Which Has Prevented The Facility From Serving The Purpose Which It was Designed For.

The Mall Which Houses Over 800 Shops was Started Under The Government Of Former Abia State Governor, Chief T.A Orji and Commissioned By The Dr Okezie Ikpeazu Led Government.

Certain Turn Of Events Have Made The Facility Dilapidated, Abandoned and Not Functional. The Abia Commissioner Who Visited With The Team From The State Ministry Of Trade, Commerce and Industry Toured The Facility With The Developer, Currently Responsible For The Facility, Jenew Homes and The Executives Of The Association Of Fashion Designers, Abia State Chapter.

After Thorough Assessment and Dialogue, The Representative Of Jenew Homes Promised To Revitalize The Facility As soon The Issues Hindering Them are attended to and Solved.

Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu, Promised That The Vision Of The Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti as regards Trade and Investment is Geared Towards Creating and Sustaining a Conducive Business Environment.

The Abia Association Of Fashion Designers Promised To Cooperate With The Government, Pointing Out That They Appreciate The Current Government For Providing a Platform Where Their Needs Can Be Addressed.
